About
The Conflicted Maximalist. Maxwell is a graphic and architectural designer based in Massachusetts, USA.
His love of world-building combined with moving experiences at the Istanbul Blue Mosque and James Turrell's Into The Light led him to pursue architecture and to design for both the livable and digital realm. His goal: to design experiences that are alluring, timeless, and comforting.
When traveling, he opts to visit visually, culturally, and spatially rich museums. His favorite museums include the Joan Miró Foundation; the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston; the Peabody Essex Museum; the Louvre Abu Dhabi; and the Yale Center for British Art.
He is currently reading R. Murray Schafer's The Soundscape: Our Environment and the Tuning of the World and Richard Feymann's Surely You're Joking, Mr. Feynman!
